Call me whatever you like.
I found myself on the other side of the lens back in 2008, when I started working as an assistant director for music programs on Channel One. With breaks, I stayed there until 2011. Since then, I’ve picked up a ton of skills, each of which I’ve come to love.
I can’t—and don’t want to—give up any of this knowledge just to define myself as one specific thing. That said, I’ve narrowed down the areas I’m willing to work on within each skill.
Below, you’ll find more details on when and why you should work with me.
Who I Work With.
95% of my clients are people for whom creating photos and videos is essential—businesses, musicians, actors, bloggers, podcasters, experts, and other media personalities. The remaining 5% are rare shoots for private clients who happen to find me.
I don’t specifically promote myself as a photographer or videographer for individual shoots, but I don’t turn them down either.
Here’s What I Can Do.
I shoot and edit videos. Since 2011, I’ve been shooting and editing videos. I create ads for social media, content for bloggers, vertical videos, music videos, and tabletop (food videos).
• If you need a video for an online ad campaign—I’m your guy.
• If you’re a blogger looking for someone to shoot your video or brand integration—I’m your guy (and no, I won’t steal your jewelry while you’re changing outfits for the shoot).
• If you have a business and need a podcast, showreel, or promo video for your website or ad campaign—I’m your guy.
• And of course, if you’re a musician who needs a music video, snippet, mood video, or lyric video—I’m your guy too.
Produce. I organize photo and video shoots. This includes preparing budgets, assembling the crew, managing the budget, and overseeing the team’s daily work from start to finish. I’m skilled at translating briefs from “client language” to “technical language” (for the team) and back, whenever needed.
I Shoot in the Studio. I can shoot both outdoors and in the studio, but I prefer the latter. I’m passionate about commercial product and portrait photography.
• Need a business portrait, magazine cover, website images, or album artwork? I’m your guy.
• Need product photography for an online store or marketplaces, ad campaigns, or branding shots? I’m your guy too.
I’m equally skilled with natural and artificial light (both strobe and continuous), but I love having more control, which is why I favor studio work.
Где я и что делаю сейчас
СCurrently, I live in Thailand on the island of Phuket, where I’m developing my podcast studio. The studio is equipped for recording not only podcasts but also expert content.
Alongside growing the studio, I continue doing everything I mentioned above.
However, I’m not tied to one location and can work anywhere in the world. So, even if you’re not in Thailand but want to collaborate, feel free to reach out, and we’ll figure it out.
Who I’ve Worked With
I’ve collaborated with the music label Respect Production (roster at the time: Kasta, Vladi, Max Korzh, Chayan Famali, Zhara, GROT), artists like Bahh Tee and Dominik Joker, actress Galina Bob, bloggers like Lyudmila Svetlova, Madam Kaka, Yulia Koval, and Vitaly Zabolotnev, among others.
I’ve shot commercials for Bulldozer Group projects, created a podcast for pohodu.media, and worked with the largest international real estate agency, Tranio.
Most of my clients come back for years, so my list is short but high-quality. This is because I don’t just shoot and edit videos — I solve problems. I understand that businesses need more than just creativity. They need the ability to solve tasks within constraints, and that’s what I do.
For example, during project discussions, I might realize I’m not the right person for the job. In such cases, I don’t just leave clients to figure it out; I help them find the right people, brief them, and carefully transfer the project into competent hands.
That’s exactly what happened when a communications agency approached me for a project for CDEK.
Hobbies
I write songs. I have two solo albums, “M5” and “USSRshchina”, as well as a collaborative EP with my brother, “By the Wires.” You can listen to them in the My Music section or on any streaming platform available to you — just search for Anton DAS or DAS & FRG.
Produce a podcast. In 2023, I launched Gotta Shoot. It’s a show about people in the film and photography industries, their professions, and how to enter and grow in this field. My guests share their stories and personal views on what makes a great professional.
